Through the Adolescents for Rights Project, NYASA has significantly expanded access to Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) for young people. The initiative engages both girls and boys, guiding them through the vital cognitive, emotional, physical, and social aspects of their sexuality.
The project has successfully equipped over 2,140 children and youth with the critical knowledge and life skills required to make conscious, healthy, and respectful choices regarding relationships and their sexual health. As a direct result of this project's success, NYASA has established vibrant, collaborative working relationships with District Health Offices, the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Health.
Cultivated strong institutional relationships with the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Education to advocate for the wider adoption of adolescent-friendly health services.
Trained and mobilized over 2,140 young people to act as peer advocates, empowering them to demand better access to SRHR resources within their local districts.
Partnered with District Health Offices to bridge the gap between youth communities and local clinics, ensuring healthcare delivery meets the specific needs of adolescents.
